May and June report

A busy month for the Club as we had lots of organised and ad hoc outings, interesting talks that clearly inspired our members, competions etc.

Thursday the 4th of June we had a Zoom talk by Kasia Sirén from Finland who inspired us to try out ICM photography (Intentional Camera Movement).

Isle of May

Monday 15th of June we visited the Isle of May to see the puffins returning with beaks full of sand eels.

Team competition ‘Layers and Depth’

18th of June was a by-election so we couldn’t use Ruthrieston. Instead thanks to Susan Gordon, the judging of the Team competition by Andy Hall took place at Deeside Golf Club. Comfy seats and a bar added to the excellent judging by Andy Hall, who was given a honorary membership of Visions.

Well done to the individuals given special mention (1st Fiona Fiona Dyas, 2nd Amanda Reid, 3rd Eileen Rodgers). Cracking pics!

The winningest team was Strata and The Laminators – (Kate Spink, Derek Masson, David Drage, Amanda Reid, Colin O’Connor and Susan Gordon ).
