15 Visions photographers turned up at the Old Wood at Drum for a few hours of woodland photography on the evening of the 7th of May.
A separate outing was organised by Lynda Gordon on the following Monday, to Kinclaven woods, to take bluebell images. As ever Dave Lynch was early enough to make the best of the light at sunrise, leaving Aberdeen at 3 am. Unsurprisingly nobody else volunteered to come along this early.
The Old Wood at Drum
Just before we disappeared into the woods at Drum. Another 5 turned up after we had started off, but they did manage to find us despite our best efforts to hide in the undergrowth. Selfie by DL. Note that we were all way over dressed for the occasion. It was pleasantly warm, absolutely no need for down jackets…
