There were a fantastic number of photos posted for this challenge – everything from boats and barges, to cakes and serviettes, to sheep and fences. Luckily there were a lot of yellow flowers out, including daffodils and forsythia, dandelions and broom and also we had quite a few days with lovely blue skies. The competition part of the challenge (#blueyellow) had less entries, but there were three clear winners:
First: Lynda Gordon with a wonderful menacing looking leopard against a blue sky. And yes Lynda did actually travel to Botswana during the challenge dates.

(The contest was blue or yellow or blue and yellow)
There were some other excellent photos that were not entered in the competition (#), including Pamela Stuart’s sewing cottons

and Kirsty Russell’s market demolition – a real piece of history and also mirroring to some extent the terrible war in Ukraine and the thought behind this competition.
