This week at Visions we had a studio night and got some lessons in flash photography from our resident expert Icarus Owen. Thanks to our lovely volunteer model Shelley McDonald for patiently posing all evening while we practised our skills.
We were delighted to hear that, for the third time in five years, Visions member Stewart Mitchell of Earthly Light Photography has had an image commended by the judges in the UK Landscape Photographer of the year competition. Several of our Visions members recently participated in the popular Facebook Black and White photo challenge. The idea was simple, post a black and white image each day for 5 days and nominate another person to do the same each day. Here are some of the results of our efforts.
