Stonehaven Treasure Hunt

Susan organised our photographic treasure hunt to Stonehaven this time. Blessed with good weather and interesting activities, meant there was plenty to photograph. This involved being given a list with 20 phrases to be interpreted photographically. Divided into teams of 3, we wandered around the harbour area. We were looking for things that could fit any of the clues, literally or loosely.

Susan about to start the review of the images – Bob Taylor

Below a small selection from the teams photo’s, starting with the team photos. (The clue was a different team, could be a selfie)

The “Three Blind Mice Team” (Lynda, Kate and David)
A different team photo – ( Mark, Bob and Derek) literally a different team! (Sue). Fiona stepped in there to add a bit of colour to the the photo!
A different team photo – “The Last Minuters” (Charitha, Stephen and Susan) – Charitha
A Different Team Photo – Team “The Treasure Hunters” ( Linda, Andy and Rob)
Yes, we know it is fuzzy. That can happen when you hand your shiny new Leica to a passerby, Linda!

The Porsche Owners club happened to be there having a chat and admiring each others cars.

Colours of the Harbour – Andy. Note David D in action!
Interesting shapes –
Stone walls & steel wheels (Charitha)
People watching – Rob
Structures or sculptures  – “2:15 at Stonehaven, 3/1 Fav, Mr. Piggy on Mr. Claws”
I Spy – “Derek Through the Looking Glass” – Mark
Something Different – Alison
Love – Linda

Something unexpected – “Longboat Starburst”
Movement – Andy

The RNLA were out in the harbour so quite a few images of the team and the boat.

I spy… Through the window (Charitha)
Interesting shapes – Spiky sea holly (Susan)
Taking the rough with the smooth (Alison)

Ropes

A few different shots of ropes, an easy thing to find in a harbour. Always amazes me how many different interpretations of the same theme we end up with.

Ropes – Linda

Interesting Shapes – Rob R
