Visions Photography Club launched on the 31st March 2011 and currently has an expanding membership of around 40 photographers.

A practical club evening

Whether you shoot with a phone or have the most up to date gear, all are welcome to come along and share their skills, learn from others and be part of a friendly community of like-minded snappers.

The Committee

Visons Photography club is run by a committee of members, elected every year.
The committee consists of:
President, Vice President,  Secretary, Treasurer, Competitions Secretary, Web Person and a couple of extra members.

Fees

Membership fees will be charged per quarter (3 monthly). The current fees are £15.00 per quarter with a discounted membership rate of £10.00 per quarter for students and unemployed.

You are encouraged to set up a standing order to pay your fees quarterly. For details please email the club or check in the Files section or our Facebook page.

All fees go towards the rent of the hall, equipment for the club and external speakers. No one is paid for administrating the club.

Facebook

The club has a very active private Facebook group, VisionsPhotographyClub.com, which is a private group for its members to use.  The group is used to share and comment on photographs, to pass on club information, and to ask questions.  If anyone needs any help to set up a Facebook account please email the club or speak to a committee member on a club night.

Flickr group.

Facebook is good for day to day things, but the photographs are of low quality. Members are encouraged to upload photos to our Flickr group.
